Saving Measures for Better 1998
Ljubljana, 11 November - GOVERNMENT/SAVING/MEASURES
A package of 19 saving measures drawn up by the government aims at keeping Slovenia among successful and competitive countries also next year, government Secretary General Borut Šuklje said at the presentation of the saving package Tuesday. State Secretary at the Finance Ministry Andrej Engelman stressed that the 1998 budget would have not actual basis if these saving measures had not been introduced. It would be best, he said, if the government submitted them to parliament together with the 1998 draft budget.
