Premier Drnovšek Leaves for Lithuania Friday; Active Political Cooperation

Ljubljana, 13 November - SLOVENIA/LITHUANIA/DRNOVŠEK
Slovenia's Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek will pay a one-day officials visit to Lithuania on Friday. He is scheduled to meet with Lithuania's top officials, including Lithuania's Premier Gediminas Vagnorius and President Algirdas Brazauskas. On the agenda is also a meeting with Lithuanian lawmakers. Two bilateral agreements are due to be signed during his visit in Vilna, namely on cooperation in education, culture and science and another one on road transport. Talks with Lithuanian officials will chiefly focuss on the economic cooperation, the Prime Minister's Office reported.
