After years of decline, number of births up in 2021

Ljubljana, 16 October - Slovenia has seen birth rates declining for years, but in 2021 the number of live births was up by 214 or 1.2% to 18,728. 52% of the babies were boys and 48% girls, data published by the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) show.
