Delo: Austrian Compromise

The European Parliament is not very powerful when it goes about the EU enlargement - it has a word to say only at the ratification of agreements. Thus, amendments concerning Slovenia, proposed by an Austrian member, can be rejected at a very low level; nevertheless, they are a clear warning to Slovenia that it can expect low blows, too, writes Delo on Tuesday.
