Govt wants to raise minimum wage already this year

Ljubljana, 27 October - The government has adopted negotiating positions for talks with the social partners on the indexation of the minimum wage, which is typically raised as of a new year. However, Labour Minister Luka Mesec has announced that the government proposes adjusting it to the minimum cost of living in November and to the annual inflation rate in 2023.
