Govt moves for early pension hike, caps care home cost increase

Ljubljana, 27 October - The government adopted an emergency bill on Thursday pushing forward the regular pension indexation of 4.5% to November from February. The bill also caps the increases in charges of elderly care homes by 4.5% and paves way for the state helping to cover care homes' wages and electricity and heating bills.
