Ljubljana, 22 November - The government passed, at its session on 20 November, its assessment of economic trends in 1997 and development potentials in 1998, drawn up under the title of 1997 Autumn Report by the government Office for Macroeconomic Analysis and Development. The report states that 1997 was characterized by close interrelation between domestic negative and foreign positive economic trends. Faster economic growth in Slovenia's major economic partners contributed to about 3 percent economic growth in Slovenia.
