Illegal migration up 160%, largely due to Serbian visa-free regime

Ljubljana, 18 November - Slovenian police processed 21,467 illegal border crossings in the fist 10 months of this year, a 160% rise compared to the same period last year. The increase continues to be primarily driven by immigrants from Burundi, India and Cuba, who do not need a visa to enter Serbia, as well as from Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
