Telekom Slovenia is Getting Ready for Competition

Telekom Slovenia's developmental projects were presented at the 100th anniversary of public telephony in Slovenia on Tuesday. According to Telekom Slovenia Managing Director Adolf Zupan, the number of telephone cables per 100 inhabitants will have increased form 35 to 40 - 42 by 2000. In the same period the whole telephone network will have been digitalized, price rates harmonized and privatization completed. Another priority will be the modernization of the telephone network and development the multimedia Internet services, Deputy Managing Director Miran Kramberger said.
