SDS mayors deny unlawful financing of election campaign

Ljubljana, 9 December - The parliamentary inquiry into alleged unlawful funding of political parties before the April general election interviewed on Friday the Lendava and Vrhnika mayors. Both denied having financed the election campaign by paying ads in media outlets published by Nova Obzorja, a company where the opposition Democratic Party (SDS) holds a 30% stake.
