Government Passes Draft Budget for 1998

Ljubljana, 26 November - GOVERNMENT/BUDGET'98
The Slovene government passed a draft budget for 1998 on Wednesday after it had been harmonization three months. The adopted draft budget is likely to be sent to parliament at the end of this week or at the beginning of the next one. Before that, the Finance Ministry should harmonized the 1998 draft budget with items as changed at Wednesday's session. Negotiations were very tough, Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek said after the session.
