Bill on personal data protection passed

Ljubljana, 15 December - The National Assembly passed in a 50:8 vote on Thursday a bill on the protection of personal data transposing the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as the last EU country to do so. The bill, whose aim is to ensure legality of data processing at systemic level, also regulates some national specifics in personal data protection.
