"Secret tracking isolating Golob's MPs": As MPs were passing changes to the financial administration act yesterday, the introduction of tracking devices, which are to help discover illegal producers of products for which excise duties must be paid, irked the opposition and the public. "ECB: Recession will be short and shallow": The ECB Governing Council expects raising interest rates will be required in the future as well, because inflation is "much too high and projections show it will stay high for a while", central bank governor Boštjan Vasle says. (front page, 9)
