Inspection calls for legislation change after abattoir misconduct

Ljubljana, 16 December - Preliminary findings of the inspection in the Rače abattoir show that the slaughter procedures that were recorded by a Slovenian animal protection NGO were not preformed correctly. As the recordings are not adequate proof and inspectors cannot constantly be present in abattoirs, they will propose legislation changes.
