Minister hails COP15 deal, Greenpeace says it falls short of total protection
Montreal, 20 December - Environment Minister Uroš Brežan said the agreement reached at the meeting of the parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity in Montreal was a breakthrough. He added Slovenia had been recognised as a model country in biodiversity. Greenpeace Slovenia meanwhile said the deal was only the start of efforts necessary to stop mass extinction.
