GDP growth expected to slow sharply next year, but recession unlikely

Ljubljana, 28 December - After expanding by over 8% in 2021, Slovenia's GDP growth is projected at a 5-6% rate for this year as the post-pandemic recovery continues. However, growth is forecast to slow down in 2023 and hover around just 1%. Projections are highly uncertain and are mostly related to the situation in energy markets.
