Cost of living
"Half fear rising costs in 2023": About a third of Slovenians are optimistic about the new year, but many also fear that prices of living costs will continue to grow, a Mediana poll suggests. Most people will spend holidays at home. (front page, page 3)

Motorway company
"Staffing at DARS": After an almost complete overhaul of the DARS supervisory board, the body will convene tomorrow to appoint new managers. It is unclear whether CEO Valentin Hajdinjak will keep his job. (front page, page 8)

Ski jumping
"Open season for golden owl and golden eagle": Men's and women's ski jumping teams hope to show good results in the upcoming competitions in Villach, Austria and Oberstdorf, Germany. (front page, page 19)

Denationalisation
"Hefty 'bonus' for Archdiocese of Ljubljana": The Farmland and Forest Fund has recently paid EUR 10 million in compensation to the Archdiocese due to lengthy denationalisation procedures involving forests in Pokljuka and around Mozirje. In total, the Archdiocese has received over EUR 46 million in compensation. (front page, page 4)

N-Plant
"Rožman handing over N-plant to Pfeifer after more than three decades": Stane Rožman has been at the helm of the Krško nuclear power plant since 1988 and will be leaving the position on 10 April. He has been preparing his successor Gorazd Pfeifer for the job for years. Pfeifer's appointment was endorsed last week. (front page, page 5)
