Lay-offs planned at Večer, staff urges protection of journalism

Ljubljana/Maribor, 28 December - The management of Večer has confirmed lay-off plans, which will also affect five of the paper's journalists. The staff and the Association of Slovenian Journalists responded by urging against the undermining of professional journalism as the company's cornerstone.
