Court says illegally outsourced port workers entitled to employment, back pay

Ljubljana/Koper, 29 December - In a landmark decision that could affect similar subcontracting schemes, the Supreme Court has ruled that workers who worked at the Koper port through outsourced contractors have the right to claim employment status with the port operator along with back pay to compensate for differences in wages and other benefits.
