Smrkolj: Delays in Structural Reforms Caused by Smaller Agricultural Budget

Ljubljana, 1 December - AGRICULTURE/SMRKOLJ/BUDGET
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food would next year require SIT 42 billion of budget funds, mainly in the light of adjusting to EU guidelines. However, under the draft 1998 budget, it will only get about SIT 25 billion.
