Slovenia open main round at handball world by beating Iran

Krakow, 18 January - Slovenia opened the main round of the World Men's Handball Championship with a 38:21 convincing win against Iran in Krakow on Wednesday to stay in play for the quarter-finals of the tournament. A much tougher opponent awaits Slovenia on Friday as they play Spain, the bronze medallists from the previous world championship.
