Forum Bled 97 to Start on Monday

The traditional two-day Forum Bled 97 is to start at the mountainous resort of Bled on Monday. Opening addresses will be given by Minister of Science and Technology Lojze Marinček and Minister of Sport and Education Slavko Gaber. On Tuesday, the Forum's second day, a round table will be given on scientific and technological polices in a changing world. Apart from government officials and representatives of the Chamber of Economy and the Slovene Academy of Sciences and Arts, it will be also attended by UNESCO Director General Federico Mayor.
