Slovene Legislators Defeat Motion for Lustration Resolution

Ljubljana, 10 December - PARLIAMENT/LUSTRATION
After five days of deliberations the National Assembly on Wednesday decided not to adopt the draft resolution on unlawful activities of the Communist totalitarian regime. The motion proposed by the oppositional Social Democratic Party (SDS) and Slovene Christian Democrats (SKD) was defeated by 44 votes against 41.
