Air Controllers' Strike Has Not Affected International Air Traffic

Ljubljana, 12 December - AIR/TRAFFIC/CONTROLLERS/STRIKE
International air traffic has not been affected by the strike of air traffic controllers, save from the transit air traffic. According to State Secretary for aviation Alojz Krapež, flight security has not been put at stake by the strike. A week ago, the ministry of transport and communications, together with the defence and interior ministries examined a possibility that a strike could be staged. Accordingly, they adopted certain measures to alleviate the consequences of the strike, Krapež told a news conference Friday.
