Government Sends Draft Budget for 1998 to Parliament

Ljubljana, 12 December - The Slovene government sent a draft budget for 1998 and a budget memorandum for 1998 to parliament on Thursday, 11 December. According to the draft budget, revenues are to total SIT 814.2 billion, with outlays amounting to SIT 843.7 billion. The budget deficit is to reach SIT 29.5 billion, or 0.9 percent of GDP, the government Information Office reported Friday.
