Magna stopping production at Slovenian paint shop next week

Hoče, 1 March - Canadian-Austrian automotive group Magna will stop production at its Slovenian paint shot in Hoče next week to move it to Graz, Austria, due to the market situation and lower demand. Hoče will from now on focus on engineering and on a new development centre. Some of the 90 workers affected by the move will lose their job.

Trial production launched at automotive multinational Magna's only Slovenian facility - a paint shop in Hoče near Maribor in March 2019.
