Record number of Slovenians registered as posthumous organ donors last year

Ljubljana, 1 March - Last year, a record number of Slovenians decided to become posthumous organ donors, the Slovenija-Transplant national institute said on Wednesday. The target for heart and lungs donors was exceeded by more than 60%. Just over 160 patients waited for an organ transplantation last year.
