Glass-Producer Rogaška Manages a Crisis
Ljubljana, 12 December - ENTERPRISES/ROGAŠKA
After years of crisis following the loss of Yugoslav markets, glass products manufacturer Rogaška will end this year with SIT 338 million (about 3.5 million German marks) of profits. The company produced US$ 40 million worth of crystal products in 1997, of which as many as 90 percent will go to foreign markets, mainly to the United States, where it holds a 30 percent market share. Considerable exports are also made to EU countries, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
