Nedelo Opinion Poll: It is Most Important to Preserve Stable Social Conditions

Randomly chosen representatives of the public were asked in the Nedelo opinion poll to give an assessment of the current Slovene domestic policy situation in the light of the trade unions' protests, oppositions to economy measures and conflicts within the government referring to the National Curriculum Council. Only 20 percent of people believe that the situation is critical and can lead to the downfall of the government, whereas the majority (43.6 percent) think that the situation will be put in order by an agreement. Slightly less than 16 percent (15.3) even believe that the situation is normal.
