Three People Arrested on Suspicion of Drug Trfficking

Three persons were arrested in the Kranj police district last Friday on suspicion of drug trafficking. Together with a 29-year-old of Jesenice (northwest), who has been arrested at Tarvisio, Italy, near the Slovene-Italian border, the three wanted to sell 5,000 tablets of ecstasy worth 55 million Italian liras. The operation was carried out by Slovene, Italian and Austrian police. After hearing all three suspects on Sunday, the examining magistrate extended custody for two of them, Radio Slovenia reported.
