Slovene Parliament Speaker Says Visit to Luxembourg Successful
Luxembourg, 15 December - SLOVENIA/LUXSEMBOURG
Slovene parliament Speaker Janez Podobnik assessed his working talks in Luxembourg on Monday as successful. Luxembourg's Foreign Minister Jacques Poos said Slovenia could be first among the countries to conclude the entire series of negotiations with the EU, thus joining the Union among the first, according to Podobnik. In Poos' opinion a country can struggle through negotiations if there is a political will and political consensus in the country, if it has the knowledge needed and if it is aware of its national identity.
