Value of counterfeit euro banknotes down 9% last year
Ljubljana, 14 March - The number of counterfeit euro banknotes and coins withdrawn from circulation in Slovenia last year was up compared to the year before but their total value was down, the central bank Banka Slovenije announced on Tuesday. It noted that the share of counterfeit banknotes remains low and so does the chance of being handed one.
