Agricultural Quotas with Macedonia Unchanged in First Half of 1998

Ljubljana, 17 December - Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Ciril Smrkolj and his Macedonian counterpart Kiro Dokuzovski signed two bilateral agreements, dealing veterinary monitoring and plant protection, during the Slovene delegation's two-day visit in Skopje. The ministers, who also signed a protocol on cooperation in agriculture, forestry and rural development, agreed the 1998 quotas to be set by a free-trade agreement would remain level with 1997.
