Ministry of Economic Relations and Development Facing a Load of Work

The Ministry of Economic Relations and Development split in 1997 into four separate sectors, headed by state secretaries for foreign economic relations, internal market, privatization and regional development. Next year, the ministry will primarily address the tasks arising from the EU accession process, continued privatization process, mainly of state-owned property, stabilization and gradual liberalization of prices and steady regional development, Minister of Economic Relations and Development Marjan Senjur told a news conference on Wednesday.
