Statistics suggest that economic and social conditions on year-end are fairly positive in Slovenia, daily Dnevnik writes on Thursday, listing in this regard an above EU-average economic growth, higher exports and the ticket to spring negotiations on full EU membership in the first group of applicants. But the picture changes if viewed through the lense of what could have been achieved, says the paper.
