It has been possible to travel form Ljubljana, Slovenia, to Belgrade, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, by train since November 1997. The Belgrade train departs form Ljubljana at 8.55 am, arriving in Belgrade at 7.47 pm. At Vinkovci and Šid trains have to be changed. The Ljubljana train departs form Belgrade at 6.00 am and arrives in Ljubljana at 4.55 pm.
