New legislation for election to the regional council of Italy's Friuli-Venezia Giulia will worsen the position of the Slovene Community in Italy. Under the new legislation, the Slovene Community will have hard time getting its representative elected to the regional council, which will have tremendous consequences for the whole Slovene ethnic minority in Italy, Primorski Dnevnik writes in its Friday issue.
