Queen Elizabeth II Congratulates Kučan upon Re-election as President

Queen Elizabeth II congratulated Monday Slovene President Milan Kučan upon his re-election of President of Slovenia. The Queen wished that Slovenia would be successful in its preparations for integration into the economic and political structures of the Western democracies. The message was presented to Kučan by the British Embassy in Ljubljana.
