Delo: National Council Strikes Back
Ljubljana, 24 December - A few days after its inauguration session, the National Council let the National Assembly know that it does not intend to be the parliament's extended hand and is not ready to adopt just anything it is sent form the parliament, Delo writes in its Wednesday issue. Surprisingly, newly-elected national councilors have quickly showed they are serious in their intention; they vetoes two laws, namely on sales tax and social security contributions.
