Safer Landing at Ljubljana Airport

Ljubljana, 24 December - AERODROM/LJUBLJANA/SAFETY
The Ljubljana airport Brnik introduced Wednesday a landing system in conditions of the "III A" low visibility. According to Aerodrom Ljubljana Board Chairman Vinko Može, the new system will improve safety at the airport and secure regular service. Air traffic would only be interrupted in case of abundant snow and slippery ice. By introducing this new system Slovenia assumed part of EU aviation legislation relative to safety.
