Government Passes Regulation for Temporary Funding in First Half of 1998

Ljubljana, 24 December - GOVERNMENT/BUDGET/1998/EDUCATION
To provide for budget funding in the first half of 1998 the government passed at Tuesday's correspondence session a temporary funding regulation needed because the passage of the 1998 budget is only expected in late March. The regulation sets budget expenditure at SIT 381.8 billion and revenues at SIT 371.5 billion, the government information office reported.
