President Kučan Congratulates Citizens of Slovenia upon Independence Day

Slovenia's President Milan Kučan congratulated all Slovene citizens upon the Independence Day. In his statement for radio Ljubljanski Val on Friday, Kučan said that among national holidays today's national holiday is ours to the greatest extent as, after the plebiscite and the announcement of its results, it united Slovenes more than anything in history. This is a holiday of many hopes, some of which have not yet come true, but I hope we'll put them into practice in future, President Kučan said.
