Trading Company Emona Obala Concludes 1997 with Success

Koper-based trading company Emona Obala made a net profit of 593.5 million Slovene tolars (SIT) in the January-to-September period. A net profit shown in 1996, however, reached SIT 500.7 million, according to the Emona Obala Koper prospectus for official listing on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange ('A' quotation). Emona Obala shares have been quoted on the off the exchange organized market C (OTC) since 28 April. The company's shares are expected to be 'A' listed shortly.
