Slovene Carriers Equal to EU Counterparts in Austria

Ljubljana, 29 December - Austrian federal Ministry of Science, Transport and Arts notified Slovenia's Ministry of Transport and Communications that a special regulation will enter into force on 1 January 1998 stipulating equal treatment of Slovene carriers with their EU counterparts in terms of maximum allowed total mass of trucks transporting goods to or from Austria or in transit.
