New Year's Message by Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek

Ljubljana, 29 December - MESSAGE/NEW/YEAR/PREMIER
We shall enter the year ahead of us - as opposed to previous years - with lesser uncertainty and better knowledge of what lies ahead and what we have to do as a state and its citizens to achieve the common goals we have set to ourselves. We have seen our internal and foreign relations gradually stabilize and the turmoil of changes and turbulences accompanying the process of political, social, economic and cultural changes we have decided to pursue when opting for independence, gradually abate, Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek said in his New Year's message to the citizens of Slovenia.
