Weekly Review of Slovene Economy from 28 December through 3 January
Ljubljana, 3 January - Slovenia record a 9.4 percent inflation in 1997. According to the National Statistical Office, the strongest price hikes were seen by fresh fish (28.5 percent), liquified fuels and lubricants (22.3 percent) and heating (20.4 percent). In December alone, retail prices increased by 0.3 percent over November.
