German Defence Minister Ruehe in Slovenia
Ljubljana, 6 January - German Defence Minister Volker Ruehe, who is paying his first official visit to Slovenia on Tuesday, pointed out the importance of training officers since investments to human resources contribute more than anything else to building a spirit of cooperation, which "is also important in common associations". In a joint news conference with Slovene Defence Minister Tit Turnšek, Ruehe also expressed his belief that Slovenia would certainly take part in the next round of NATO enlargement.
