Ljubljana, 6 January - German Defence Minister Volker Ruehe, on his first official visit to Slovenia, said Tuesday he had in depth and friendly talks with his Slovene counterpart Tit Turnšek, adding this would give considerable momentum to relations between Slovenia and Germany. In a joint news conference with Minister Turnšek, he pointed out the role of officer training since investments to human resources contribute more than anything else to building a spirit of co-operation, which "is also important in common associations". Ruehe also expressed his belief that Slovenia would certainly take part in the second round of NATO enlargement.
