The purchase price of milk in Slovenia covers a fragmentization of the Slovene agriculture and its poor productivity. As there is actually nothing to stimulate its labour-intensity, the Slovene agriculture will be unable to compete with Europe. In light of this, the government decision to rise the price of milk is questionable, Wednesday's issue of Večer writes.
