Government on Two Judiciary-Concerning Amendment Bills

The government confirmed the court taxes amendment bill at its session on Thursday, to be sent to parliament for fast track adoption, Justice Minister Tomaž Marušič told a news conference after the session. Court taxes are to be raised in order to match court procedure costs in particular types of judicial matters. The measure is also intended to cut down the number of unnecessary court disputes and cover for budget expenses arising for court operations.
